Airplane DVD review - and dont call me Shirley!
For some reason I missed seeing Airplane when it first came out. I was first alerted to this little gem when watching channel 4`s top 100 (or was it 50?) greatest comedy movies of all time. Airplane came in at number 2 on the list. The next day I grabbed myself a copy on eBay, I have watched it through many times and it still makes me laugh everytime. If you dont find one of the jokes funny then you only need to wait another 10 seconds before another one comes out and hits you. Leslie Nielson is fantastic in the film, as are the supporting cast. I honestly think Airplane is one of the best comedy films ever made, which other film contains so many memorable quotes such as: Dont call me Shirley I picked a bad day to snop sniffing glue Tell me Jimmy, have you ever seen a grown man ... Used, get what you pay for. One of the funniest, classic movies ever made! Goodwill sticker still on it, must not have paid that much. Cost in the shipping and it took over a week!

One of the best movies of all times
This is just as funny now as it was when it came out! I worked for an airline at the time, and we claimed it was a documentary about us! The ground crew were as funny as the cabin crew. (So were we).
