    Works great!

    Pretty easy to install, tested it over the side first, took a depth reading, placed it in a bag of water inside bilge area and got the same reading (holding it up to where I wanted to place it). Sanded to floor area somewhat smooth, epoxied it down with duck tape to hold in place. Works great. Every now and then it cuts out around 35-40mph (max speed of my boat).

    Product is everything I expected at a great price. Although shipping was a different story. USPS left package in yard unprotected in pouring rain. Package was full of water. I tested unit in my pool before installing in boat. Fortunately it worked.

    Remanufactured in-dash depth finder

    I purchased a remanufactured unit to replace my 17 year old original version in my 2004 Yamaha AR230. The exterior packaging was perfect, the interior was used and a bit torn up, but everything was there and in good shape. The unit was a slightly updated version of the original, with a better transducer cable and a shallower dash mount display unit. Everything fit perfectly and powered right up. I have not yet had it in the water, but have no doubt it will work just fine. The added display cover is a nice and needed upgrade as the LEDs tend to to get sunburnt, which is the reason I had to replace the first one. Unfortunately, the cover does not fit on the unit once it is installed in the OEM dash panel slot, due to tight clearance. I will continue with the old fashion way and ...
