    OEM Motorcraft quality

    Note that this is for more than one model of Ford. My 2005 Escape takes this particular cap. The seller was nice enough to check my VIN number to be sure that I was getting the correct one. I was actually getting a different before this. I highly recommend this seller for going out of his way to help me. This cap is an except match for my old one and is OEM. My old one still worked well but since it was already 15 years old, I figured it was time to be proactive and not take a chance on it leaking fumes and causing my CEL to come on. My recommendation is no matter what type of Ford you have, get the seller to double-check your vehicle's VIN number for a match. The seller and the product are both excellent!

    Cap is not sealing. Lose gas cap code keeps coming up.

    This cap is not the right cap for our SUV. The EVAP lose gas cap light comes on after 20 miles. I clear the code and in 20 miles it comes on again. Got a NAPA locking gas cap, and problem solved. 600 miles and no more issues.

    Did not fit.

    It just did not fit the stainless steel fuel filler for my 07 Focus station wagon. Haven't been able to find the right one yet.
