A poor man's Ghost in the Shell
Quite frankly, the above title really sums up my feelings. The concepts in Armitage III, while not done deeply or thoughtfully enough, remincse of GITS, while never coming close in that area, or the areas of quality animation, action, or successful resolution seen in the referred film. To the film's partial credit, Kiefer Sutherland does a great job at voice-acting, but then again, Elizabeth Berkley does not and is quite annoying. There is some entertainment to be had, but having experienced quite a bit of anime, I can be a little more thorough and critically harsh.Quite frankly, the above title really sums up my feelings. Armitage III Poly Matrix
This is one of my most favorite anime ever. Naomi Armitage is a sexy street cop, who also is a third. Thirds are a breed of android that mimics humans in every way, and Naomi Armitage is the best. She is wild and tough. If you like action and pretty girls in your anime, watch this movie. You wont regret it.
