    This low wattage 4-core CPU is a blessing for any machine still stuck with single core, but it does not rise to the modern frequency standard and may not be sufficient for any demanding games.

    Replacement for Single Core

    This item (AMD Phenom X4 9150e 1800MHz CPU Desktop AM2 AM2+ Processor HD9150ODJ4BGH) replaced the single core in a low cost computer. The motherboard could be upgraded & this cpu was installed.

    Worth the effort

    I was forced to repair my older unit because I hadn't backed up in 3 months. I needed those 3 months of data so I upgraded my old tower with this new 9185. Plugged it in and retrieved my data PLUS I have breathed new life into my old computer. Fast delivery and no problems on the install. I had also ordered a power supply just in case it wasn't the CPU but the CPU was all I needed.
