    Great Sound, Horrible Reliability.

    I am on my second because my first kept shorting out. Of course I haven't used it in a about a year because the one I got NEW OUT OF THE BOX also shorted out almost immediately. Hey, it is very versatile and sounds great. But here's the problem, you can't be doing serious recording and have unreliable electronics where the volume changes or shorting out on different verses. It's horrible. And NO, it isn't the connections. I put other things in it's place like a TC-Helicon with the same connections. Behringer has to step up it's game if it makes essentially good products that work SOMETIMES. I would love to recommend it, but can't because, as I've stated, I won't use mine any more. Nothing is worse than doing serious recording and having something inconsistent in volume.

    It Aint Heavy

    it warms up the sound of anything you run through it. I use it with a transistor amp and my guitar and although it isn't going to make my amp sound like a tube amp there is a noticeable warmth that reduces the digital harshness of my sound and that's good enough for me. I'm getting old and carrying around heavy tube amps are no longer an option.

    You're never too old to learn...

    For the better part of twenty years I have been struggling with the weak line out signal from my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I never knew that a preamp such as this existed. It's the perfect signal boost... I could not be happier. Worked as I had hoped - if not better. Mark Lewis Piano Tuner
