This game is a load of fun. Not too keen on the arcade mode, which has mines floating around the place, but the championship mode is great fun once you get the hang of the controls. It's not easy, you'll bail a lot when you're learning, just like the real thing, but it's always fun and never frustrating! Graphics are basic but decent enough. Controls are super responsive and intuitive. This is a great game, especially considering how cheaply it can be picked up!

I bought this like most dreamcast games, as a joke and a joke it was. this game doesn't even know what grapics are i think some monkies were playing with a computer and this came out. surfer is the WORST looking dreamcast game i own, quake 3 looks better... although this title is extra crappy, alas it was still really funny and i play it with friends often for a good time. the extra videos are where the real laughs are. each player has there own real life action video showing off their "sweet" moves. for some reason the designers decided to put an 8 yearold kid in the game, although he's not half bad in the game, he sucks in real life and his video consists of 20 two second clips of him crashing on 3 foot waves. i guess budget problems kept them from putting a real surfer in this game, but ...
