This Best Seller Series release of Tribes 2 features the latest version of the game including the update by Garage Games and extra modes found in the 2002 jewel case release. Team Rabbit 2, Tribes Classic, and the 28 new maps are all downloadable for players who already own the original version. Team Rabbit 2 is quite a bit different than the original Rabbit mode as it plays more like a sport than a deathmatch. Players can only hold a flag for 20 seconds at a time, tossing the flag to their teammates as they attempt to move across the map and place the flag in a goal to score points. Tribes Classic plays similar to the original rules of Tribes 2, but with some tweaks, a practice mode, and other additions, such as sound effects that inform the user when they have hit an enemy. The primary alteration is in the pace of the game -- it is faster and more comparable to Starsiege: Tribes. Of the 28 new maps, 13 are for Tribes Classic, 5 for Team Rabbit 2, and 10 are based on maps originally released with the aforementioned Starsiege: Tribes.

I bought this game because I used to have this game back in 2002 which was six years ago.What I really like about this awesome futuristic sci fi shooter game is that it's hardcore to me because you get to do so many great fun things in this game like playing many game rule matches like for example CTF or deathmatch etc... Also this game has so many cool maps it's unbelievible to me and many cool awesome dangerous reliable weapons.What I really love about this game is that it has a training part where it holds five training maps for you to train and practice as much as wanted or needed to recieve perfection and satisfaction in this game.I dislike nothing about the game.This game is filled with diversion and satisfaction which this game has great cool features and awesome multiple gameplay ... Tribal Warfare
Tribes 2 is one of if not the greatest multiplayer game I have ever played. There is a level of diversity and versitility in it that quite frankly doesn't exist in most other games. The almost limitless variety of weapon and equipment layouts combined with the team-based flexibility puts this game, in my opinion, on a level above most other multiplayer shooters. While the graphics may not be the most breathtaking, very rarely will you find yourself having much of an opportunity to take in the scenery, aside from the times you find yourself smeared across said scenery. There is a learning curve, mainly in learning to integrate the jetpack and the sheer number of weapons, utilities, deployables, the integrated voice command tree, and the fact that mosre than half of the keyboard is ... Tribes 2 is one of if not the greatest multiplayer game I have ever played. There is a level of diversity and versitility in it that quite frankly doesn't exist in most other games. I highly reccomend this game for lovers of team-based FPS multiplayer games. If you like Counterstrike or Halo, give this game a try.
