You pay for what you get...with a meanwell brand, absolutely excellent quality. I've purchased other inverters before and they go out, over heat, don't have true power; ie has 5000 watts but really can do 2500 watts, etc but none of these compare... but again it's pricey. If you going to use for simple operation then yeah, you can go with a cheaper one and would work well but if you need everyday with lots of power to last after time and time again, this is the one.You pay for what you get...with a meanwell brand, absolutely excellent quality.
