  • Looking into the future

This is a great movie. It is full of adventure every where you turn. It gives us a glimpse of what the "future" could be like for us. Chris Tucker is extremely funny in this film in his "girlish" ways. This movie does feature the classic good versus evil and of course with the good winning, but just by a hair. Bruce Willis plays the part of Dallas Corbin, who is a taxi cab driver in the future NYC and has Mia, who plays Lee Loo, falls into his cab. Not only is Bruce Willis trying to save the girl, but apparently, the whole world too from evil. Of course the movie would not be completed with a little romance thrown in there to end this adventurous movie!

  • excellent sci/fi action adventure with Bruce Willis

Saw this the first time on cable. wanted to see again, so I bought one online. the plot is okay, and the special effects are cool enough--really liked the flying cars portrayed in the film. Willis is again at his best, in a role where he is thrust into a situation not of his own making, without choice. He is caught up in saving a girl who is part of a planet defense system, put into place centurys ago by aliens. Watch for Chris Tucker as Ruby Rue, the celebrity host. His attire, voice, and facial expressions are a riot. The girl is played by Milla Jovovich--she is pretty foxy looking, even with the weird language she spouts during the film. Her fight scene with the bad guy aliens is really cool----and she kicks but!!!! All in all a really good sci/fi action movie.

  • Best movie ever.

I finally have my own copy of the fifth element. I have watched and rented this movie 10 times over the past years. I wish there was a sequel. It’s that good.

  • Blast from a Futuristic Past

This movie is great. Cheesy, 100%, but it has action, romance, comedy... A bit of sexism but it's from the 90s so *shrug* (By that I mean almost all service workers in any industry are scantily clad women, "important" jobs like police, scientists, President, are all men, etc.) It will forever be one of my all-time favorites.
