Not perfect out of the box, but a major upgrade nonetheless.
Yup, its an aluminum rocking bigsby bridge, the kind that vintage Guild electrics used to use (and Guild should still use them, frankly). My only complaint is that the rocking part is cast slightly crooked - the flat part of the base extends down too far on the one side, preventing the bridge from rocking. Five minutes with a file and everything moves as it should, but its still a little bit annoying that it wasn't right out of the box.
