Walt Disney Treasures: Secrets, Stories and Magic
This is a must have for any Disney fan. It is rich with detail and fun facts. It is a real history lesson on everything Disneyland. Being a hardcore Disney fan and growing up 30 miles from the Magic Kingdom, i thought I knew a lot. This video had footage and interviews I have never seen before. The video also had a quiz game which was the weakest part of the video. One really nice feature the video had was reproduction of an old Disneyland ticket book. That to me was worth the price of the video. So in closing, I highly recommend this video to anyone who wants to learn more about Disneyland or just take a stroll down memory lane. The video is packed with footage of extinct attraction that no longer exist. It was great to see some of my old favorite Disneyland attractions and the ... This is a must have for any Disney fan. If you like Disneyland, you will love this DVD. If you love Disneyland, you will go crazy over this DVD! The feature video on this two disc set is a documentary on Disneyland. The people who created and worked at Disneyland tell the story. You will laugh, cry, then ooo and ahhh at the footage. The documentary is worth the price alone, but you get so much more including a fun Disneyland Trivia game! The second DVD contains some Wonderful World of Disney shows and a special video that ABC sent out to their affiliates in 1955. I couldn't wait until this DVD came out, and it was not a disappointment.If you like Disneyland, you will love this DVD. If you love Disneyland, you will go crazy over this DVD! I heard the official Disney Historian on a talk show mention this DVD. I immediately sought it out and purchased it. It is a TREASURE !! The footage on the two discs is incredible. The original cinemascope short subject that was shot of Disneyland shortly after it opened is worth the price alone. The interviews with the various Imagineers, the original Disney TV shows, all of it brings back so many memories, I was in tears !! I can't believe I haven't heard of this DVD until now !! This is a must have for any true Disney fan, it really is. The footage of Walt talking about Disneyland while it was being built, tearing the red tape for the Monorail, joking about the designs for the Haunted Mansion, it just goes on and on.
