Brondell Swash 1400 for round toilets.
This unit is one to fit a round bowl. Due to it's configuration the mechanics of it reduces the size of the opening in the seat considerably compared to a regular toilet seat. So My wife does not have any issues with it and it works great for her. But for a mans anatomy it is a bit short but still usable. An elongated toilet which would take the elongated version of this unit would work better for a man. The other issue we had with it is that the toilet in our master did not have the required room to mount it between the mounting bolts and the front of the tank. So we ended up having to swap a different brand toilet from one of our other bathrooms to be able to have the bidet seat in our master bathroom. We do love the features of it and it does work great.This unit is one to fit a round bowl. Made of good quality materials - solid feel; robust build. Lots of options, but simple. For example, there are multiple settings for water temperature, seat temperature, air dry temperature, water pressure, etc., but each 'item' has 3 levels - low, medium, high. So it's very straightforward. I like the oscillating feature of the spray. I like the lighted basin (for nighttime use). The remote is straightforward and I like the easy magnetic mount. We put it on the wall near the toilet paper holder. Some reviews and comparison articles note that this bidet has a lower water pressure than some others. Personally, I nearly always use the lowest pressure setting. The highest pressure is all I can ever conceive of needing. I can't imagine the 'firehose' of some of those other bidets. Why didn't we order this years ago!!! What were we thinking?!!!
Pros: This item was a fantastic find!! We decided to purchase the Brondell Swash 1400 after reading reviews and deciding if we were going to try a bidet, it may as well be the Cadillac of bidets. We couldn't be happier so far with this purchase! Starting with the heated seat, to the easy and very functional remote, front and back sprayers, and warm blow dryer, one will find themselves in the lap of luxury in their own bathroom. Only once have I had this same feeling when the original iPhone came out and I experieced what it could do and that all the functionality was exactly where it should be in one place. That's what I'm talking about!! The Swash 1400 does it all and more importantly it does it well! What sold me was an article describing the bidet. Would you wash your hands ... Pros: This item was a fantastic find!! We decided to purchase the Brondell Swash 1400 after reading reviews and deciding if we were going to try a bidet, it may as well be the Cadillac of bidets.
