This documentary, "TYSON" provides a decent, clear real life inspection and introspectiion of the enigma, of the child that was forced to become a man, eventually a devestating professional Pugilist, and ultimately a two-time title unifying Heavy Weight Champion. We get to take an indepth ride on the roller-coaster of his life, loves, losts, regrets, and for some, inspirations from his direct standpoint. Like many, I walked away with insight, and a better perspective of who he is, and how he struggled and fought against the inner and outer demons that tormented him, and how with an ultra-positive power of positive thinking and believing; he overcame one obstacle after another to reach a level of self acceptance, and hopefully, satisfaction. Without a doubt, a combatant, gladiator ... If you ever had any doubts about "Iron Mike" (Must see)
Film was very well done as it reveals Mike Tyson as an actual human being and not some crazed animal like the media has always portrayed him to be. In this film he describes very vividly of where he came from, what he had become and where he wants to be in the future. To me, Michael Jackson and Mike Tyson have always been the pair that has received the most critical scrutiny from the media as well as the public in this era but in a film that unveils all, it is apparent that these people are no different from the likes of us. However, if you're expecting this movie to be like Rocky, than you're sadly mistaken.Film was very well done as it reveals Mike Tyson as an actual human being and not some crazed animal like the media has always portrayed him to be. In this film he describes very vividly of where he came from, what he had become and where he wants to be in the future. If you're interested in the former heavyweight champ (Mike Tyson)this film is a must have. It's a self-narrated autobiography of Mike; about his rise & fall in the ring. Not only does he talk about his boxing career, he also speaks about his personal life. He explain his anger, his aggression, his ring dominance and his fears. Very interesting film. This DVD has it all. See a side of Iron Mike you have never scene before
