About this product

Product Information

National Book Award finalist Julie Anne Peters delivers a moving, classic love story with a coming out theme and a modern twist. The largest known meteorite has been discovered, entombed in the earth for millions of years on a frigid, desolate island off the southern tip of Chile. At four thousand tons, this treasure seems impossible to move. New York billionaire Palmer Lloyd is determined to have this incredible find for his new museum. Stocking a cargo ship with the finest scientists and engineers, he builds a flawless expedition. But from the first approach to the meteorite, people begin to die. A frightening truth is about to unfold: The men and women of the Rolvaag are not taking this ancient, enigmatic object anywhere. It is taking them.

Tracking number didn’t work which was a bit of a pain but item came earlier than expected. The item was packaged very well. Being a record it’s hard to be perfect quality considering its age but was as good and exactly as presented by seller. Overall good experience and would buy from seller again!

  • Aonther good one

This is not your regular,Preston/Child novel. No mystical aspects accept when I got to the end, I would like to see Ice Limit 2. An interesting approach to a meteroite story. After finding the rock the story becomes basically how to move the heaviest object ever moved by man. With a foreign power looking over your shoulder. Only when they get to this forboding island do they realize that it is twice as heavy as they thought. The characters are very real with thier flaws. Glinn, the main engineer, is great with his cold calculating personality and plans for every contingency. Overall B+

  • Love Preston/Child team, but Ice Limit ok

This team of writers, Preston and Child, write some of the best page-turners around, with lots of interesting characters and scientific information that makes their stuff a step above other books in this genre. However, Ice Limit gets a bit drawn out and unbelievable at the end. Better, read their series of books featuring Agent Pendergast. They're great.
