    I'm really happy with this purchase. It's made of a quality leather that is supple so you can easily open it and fold back the front cover for writing. There's some nice, embossed detail on the front cover - a compass and the theme is continued with a metallic anchor for bookmarking your page and a ship's steering wheel attached to a leather "braid" to wind around the diary to keep it closed. Highly recommended.
