About this product

Product Information

One of the PS2's early hits proffers a sword-swinging spin-off in Onimusha: Blade Warriors. Unlike most 3D fighting games, Blade Warriors features large combat areas, with multiple paths and interactive elements that may influence strategy. In all, 24 characters from the Capcom series are available for battle, though many need to be unlocked. Characters can be customized with upgrades in the game's single-player Story mode, while up to four players can compete together (using a "multitap" device) in the Fighting mode. A Practice mode lets combatants perfect their skills, while a number of mini-games offer diversions from the head-to-head battles.

  • Onimusha Blade warrior

This game resmebles nintendo's super smash bros series. you can fight with up to 4 players or you against 3 cpu's . the "story mode" is not that interesting since it isn't the meat of the game, regardless you can unlock things and levle up your characters. The main focus of the game is the versus mode where, as stated earlier can hold a match between 4 contestants. the controllers are simple and not very difficult to ge used to.It's a good game to play on your own and even better with friends. however persons that have played supersmash bros complain about the lack of combos that can be performed since most of the attacks can be executed with the button square. The graphics are pretty nice considering the time it came out and you can use megaman.exe or megaman zero.

  • Smash Bros meets Onimusha Warriors

If you want a fun platform side scroller fighting game that is easy to pick up mechanics than this is the game for you. It plays literally like other platform fighting titles like Smash Bros and PlayStation All-Stars. Only with its own unique twist of gameplay. Very great Co-op gameplay!!

  • Onimusha Smash Bros. :P

I love how the game allows for Multitap use, hence up to 4 players (nothing required for online) can play the game in 4 vs 4 match. The story lines for each character are great, and there's a messload of unlockable items/characters if you decide to just finish the game. Only downside, and I mean ONLY downside, is that the gameplay can get easily repetitive, but hey, THAT'S WHAT MAKES THE GAME EASY TO PICK UP AND EASY TO LEARN. Once you play for while, you won't want to stop playing until you finish and unlock everything. Take a break though, different challenging modes allow players to never really get bored and hence only advance their playing skills for this game. If you're a fan of the Onimusha series as well, Blade Warriors is quite the treat. IT IS NOT LIKE THE REGULAR ONIMUSHA ...

  • Excellent with a guitar riff and the end

It is fun with lots of characters

  • Think state of the art.

I love that it is a 4 player fighting game. Most other games of this type are only 2 player games. I also like that it shows characters from the Mega Man game series. I learned about it in "Tips and Tricks" and watched videos of the game play online. This game lives up to my expectations! I would say it is a must have.
