About this product

Product Information

Williams Entertainment's violent 1988 coin-op game starring two police officers taking back a drug-ridden city with deadly force is the subject of this 3D update courtesy of Midway. Hit Man and Max Force are back and ready to rock in a game sporting the look and feel of a 1970s police drama, inspired by such programs as Starsky and Hutch, Adam-12, and Baretta. K.R.A.K. is back and the city is out of whack. The nefarious crime organization has created a new designer drug named Liquid Soul, and to stop it from spreading throughout the city, players will have to bust some heads and arrest the perps responsible for selling it.

Played from a third-person perspective, the game features a combination of hand-to-hand battles with drug dealers and street thugs as well as weapons-based combat using a variety of firearms. Another key feature is the ability to handcuff suspects after first wearing them down with a few punches and kicks. Players can embrace their opponents in a grapple, at which point a meter will appear that has the officer automatically slapping on the cuffs if timed correctly. If the timing is off, the fight will continue. The developer, VIS Interactive, adapted the engine used in 2002's State of Emergency for this update of Narc.

  • you wanna get high?

I friggin LOVE THIS GAME. I loved the Nintendo port of the ooooold narc a long time ago, but hooooly poop. this game rocks. okay... first, I'll get to the story. you alternate play between Jack Forzenski and Marcus Hill, two agents in the NARC division of Rockland PD. I won't give you their whole life stories, so pick it up and read the manual. one day, a dealer named Eddie Jackson got caught in a sting operation. surrounded in the streets, a panicked cop lets loose with his assault rifle, turning Eddie into swiss cheese. right as he lay dying, he injects himself with a mystery drug. moments later, as the police come in to inspect the supposed corpse, he stands up and mows down half the force. as it turns out, the mystery drug was a new designer drug named liquid soul, distributed by Mr. ...

  • okay game

great game .i would recommend this game to anyone.lot of action and i great game.NARC doesn't masquerade behind some morally ambiguous gray area. You just do drugs and kill people. NARC also doesn't claim to offer the most feature rich, exciting action on the planet. Nope, you just do drugs and kill people. But you might still smile enough to make that simplicity worth a look. Like any good high, NARC offers a brief period of euphoria followed by the sudden dramatic realization that what you're doing is probably very, very bad for your brain and/or spinal column. Yet, it's also likely to beg for a second, third, fourth and fifth try. Every single time I

  • Narc Review

When I first rented this game, I was totally blown away by the drug use in this game. I had a lot of fun running around the city on weed, acid, ecstasy and speed busting criminals and drug dealers and selling their drugs to other people on the street. I even got busted by other undercover narc agents for selling drugs. I recommend renting it just to be able to that, cuz it was a lot of fun. But the problem with this game is that it fails to have an interesting storyline and interesting and fun missions to drive the rest of the game. You can only trip out on acid and run around for so long, and after about 2 days of doing a lot of that, it starts to get old. Add that with a story I really wasn't all that in to and missions that weren't rewarding or fun enough, I felt the motivation to beat ...
