    Yamaha reciever is awesome

    I picked this up for under $200 on Ebay and have had it hooked up for about 3 months now. What a great buy. I highly reccomend this reciever to anyone looking for something with newer technology built in. It has like 4 HDMI ports and gives you the option to change every aspect of your home theater set up. Be aware that in order for you to have a proper surround sound system you have to buy a seperate stand alone powered subwoofer. So expect to spend a few hundred extra dollars on that unless you buy something weak. You can change settings such as speaker size (large or small), volume on each individual speaker, distance, subwoofer crossover, delay, audio fields, and so forth. I am really impressed with this reciever and I would give it a 6th star if I could. A+++ buy!

    You'll be surprised if you buy this product.

    This is the second Yamaha receiver that I have purchased. The first was a used 5630 which still performs well. This is a definite upgrade. Setup was easier than I thought it would be. I thought that the setup without a manual would be a pain but it turned out to great. It's also easier to look up instructions anytime due to the fact that they're on the the laptop. No looking for the manual while away from the house. This is a more powerful receiver than the 5630 and seems much more crisp. After fiddling around a couple of days with the 3063 I have the instructions down pat. I'm able to change programs without worrying about getting back to the previous setup. Nothing not to like about this receiver.
