    Big, solid and well built!

    This might not be the best stand for the road because of its weight, but it's sure the thing for your studio. The 1-1/4" diameter telescoping stand is air damped so it doesn't drop suddenly if you're not paying attention. Free-fall of your favorite mic might spell disaster. Good stuff!

    Unsurpassed Quality and Workmanship

    Atlas MIC MS20E quality is unsurpassed. I have been using them as the foundation in my motorized microphone stands for over thirty years. Atlas American made quality was great in the 60's and 70's but later got worse and worse. Parts never fit well. Then Atlas went with China and the quality was amazing and consistent and continues.
