About this product

Product Information

Disney's Mickey Mouse makes his GameCube debut in a 3D game that finds the beloved cartoon character trapped inside an enchanted mirror by a mean-spirited ghost. From within this parallel universe, players must navigate the many rooms of Mickey's mansion to find the mirror's hidden pieces. Only then will Mickey break the spell and return home for a much-needed rest. Gameplay combines puzzle solving and performing mischievous "tricks" on Mickey using a point-and-click interface initiated by the mouse's white glove.

As players move from room to room in the house, they can click on certain objects, such as a door, refrigerator, or a cupboard, to look at them closely, use an item on them, or to initiate a trick. The trick option appears on the screen whenever a specific object is activated that is typically needed to solve a puzzle. Each trick "costs" a certain amount of energy stars, which are found along the ground. Mickey can also add to his arsenal of trick points by finding star holders, allowing him to perform more powerful tricks on objects to reveal one of the hidden shards of glass.

Throughout the mansion are bonus sequences involve gliding on a snowboard, piloting a biplane, and more. As players explore the various rooms, they'll eventually run across various trinkets like Minnie's bow and Pluto's collar, which will be displayed in Mickey's bedroom once the game is finished. As a special bonus, the game interfaces with the Game Boy Advance title Disney's Magical Quest Starring Mickey and Minnie. Players can access tips and clues to help in their adventure once the two games are linked.

    Great classic

I loved this game as a kid and it has held up 10 years later. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this if your into twisted phycological horrors (that are family friendly mind you). Note: comes with the manual, always a bonus.

  • Great Children's Game

I have a 7 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. The great thing about this game is it lets you choose either regular mode or kid mode. For my son he has a hard time with regular games so this works out nice for him. I would recommend this game for younger children as well as for parents to play with their kids. There is also nothing that you will have to worry about with a younger audience like many video games.

  • Old school point and click adventure

This is a classic old school point an click game its got charm and while it hasn't aged the best its a fun unique game to own.

  • Disney's Magical Mirror for GameCube is Grrrrreat!

My 3 year old grandson jumped right into this game with no problems. It has wonderful color and clarity and was difficult enough to present a challenge but not too difficult. My 10 year old granddaughter is having fun playing it also. However, it is one player, and they would like it better if they could play together. Overall, we are pleased with the game and its content.

  • FOR THE LITTLE KIDS

PROS: I like the fact that there are two levels for fun-- 1st level ---kids mode--This mode is for the very little kids; where the game basically plays itself. 2nd level--- normal mode-- This mode is for kids just starting out with the video game system. You move the buttons and take Mickey where you want him to go explore. CONS: Not much to do besides wander around exploring different places. OVERALL RECCOMENDATION: Great for the 5 and under crowd who really want a game of their own. Definitly Not for adults or teens.
