    Hang Cool Teddy Bear [Bonus Disc] [PA] by Meat Loaf

    Do you like Meat Loaf? Are you a fan of big, bombastic songs that give you your money's worth? Then you probably own this. If you don't, this probably went under your radar. Long story short: not his best work by any means- stick with the original Bat Out Of Hell for that- but very good. The songs aren't Jim Steinman's, and that's the missing ingredient. The double CD version includes a live CD of old and new songs. The live "Bat" is the best I've heard, in my opinion. "Amnesty Is Granted" is great too. As an aside, I wore out three copies of the original Bat on vinyl from playing it so much, so I'm a big longtime fan. I bought this because I buy everything Meat Loaf -or Jim Steinman, for that matter- put out. Check out Jim's "Original Sin" collection- different takes on songs later ...

    Solid songs but not great songs, missing the talents of Jim Steinman. ML sounds good but the material could be better.

    Hang Cool Teddy Bear

    This is one of Meat Loaf's best albums of all time easily. The studio part is just pure excellence track after track and song after song. There is not a single bad song on this album. The live part is just the same hit after hit and it never lets up or stops! This is a definite buy for any rock and roll fan out there.
