Courage of the RAF in the face of Hilter's air force who tried to break the U.K's will in the 1940s
One of the best films on the actual Battle of Britain, which saved England from Hilter's planned invasion of the little island in the 1940s, excellent actors and sterling performances by the cast; one of the best films on this subject ever produced. Came out initially video, remastered now on several CDs

Saw it many years ago on PBS. Since then have become really interested in WWII, and this series is one of the very best when it comes to the Battle of Britain. Wonderful flying scenes. Series is hard to get now, and this example is in excellent condition. Am very satisfied with the sale.

This is a must have for persons interested in WWII particularly how the RAF trained and fought. This has become a true classic.

I loved this series, but this DVD set is sub parr. Even the begining is missing, you don't know why or how the original squadron leader died. (He fell of the wing of his aircraft.) But you don't see it on the DVD, they just start up late, by about 1 minute. The video quality is fair. I imagine that the production company is pretty schlocky. But, if you have to have this series, it is your only choice, sadly.I loved this series, but this DVD set is sub parr.
