About this product

Product Information

In Clint Eastwood's acclaimed Western, Little Bill Daggett (Gene Hackman), a sadistic, dictatorial sheriff, enforces gun control on a tiny frontier town, doling out his own brand of due process as he sees fit. When he denies justice to the prostitutes of the town brothel, one of whom has been slashed by a client, the women hire Bill Munny (Eastwood), a reformed gunslinger, to gain vengeance. However, Munny must contend with his new moral code in the face of revisiting the life he left behind. Eastwood's directorial masterpiece also stars Morgan Freeman and Richard Harris.

    ALWAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED FROM CLINT EASTWOOD A+++++

    I had a feeling this was going to be great and I was right. I entertained from the beginning to the end and I liked the fact that it was all unexpected. All of the good guys did not win in the end as they usually do in westerns. The entire cast was great as well,with this cast one can only expect that the story is a winner.

    Clint Eastwood 's Best Western EVER!!!

    Four 1992 Academy Awards show the respect that this movie deserves. Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, and Gene Hackman? Who could ask for more???? Has-been gunfighters make a comeback to right a wrong with the code of the old West. Eastwood is wonderful as a husband to a dead wife, father to two kids, and a killer with a terrible past which just caught up with him. Buy it now on VHS.
