About this product

Product Information

Journey to a slightly futuristic world, where pollution and nuclear war have driven the privileged to become compulsive vacationers. Of course, these elite few will need someone to transport them to the remote locations of their getaway spots, and if you want to make a buck off of it you're going to face some pretty stiff competition. Choose from 16 cold-blooded crazies each vying for the almighty dollar as you pick up tourists and deliver them to their destinations. Every traveler you pick up will help get you the money you need to buy weapons upgrades and health. The awesome list of weaponry includes a meteor shower, stinger missiles, flame-throwers, and unique special weapons for each vehicle. There are 12 high profile vacation spots in all (they're not all tropical islands) and a soundtrack featuring the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. The incredible depth of the game's graphics and sounds only serve to augment the clever premise and amazingly vast gameplay. Plus, it's made by the same folks who originated the TWISTED METAL series, so you know it's got to be pretty cool.

There was a description of the item which said there was a chip and normal ware. Which was all true. It also listed what came. It was missing part of the cover. I contacted the seller who ignored me. I asked if they may have missed it when packing. Or rectifying this. I never hurd if they found the piece. If they were willing to refund a small amount of money or even an apology. Maybe they figured I wouldn't know that there was another part if they just put the push down tool in the opening

    Great Game, excellent quality

I played this game growing up and it is just as good as it was then. The game came in mint condition and I had no problems playing the game.

  • Overlooked gem

Disc was in better condition than expected. Fantastic under the radar game, great gameplay. As fun as twisted metal, and unique enough to play.

  • LOVE IT

As soon as I heard the music, this game took me back YEARS ago. The graphics are terrible compared to the new games, but this is some nostalgia that I just absolutely had to have - perfect condition, looks brand new and plays wonderfully

  • Showing it's age, but lots of fun.

In this game, you're pretty much a "Taxi Driver of the Apocalypse" Ferry around passengers and make money while seeing and destroying the sights. This game plays almost exactly the same as the first two Twisted Metal games (understandably) The locations, vehicles, and characters are all way out there and give the game an "over the edge" feel. The music in the game isn't really my kind of thing, but it does set the mood for the game and fits well. The graphics are dated. Pixellation and blockiness abound, but if you like driving and blowing stuff up, this is definitely a game to grab.
