Track down over 200 digital monsters to compete for a world championship in this handheld game based on the Digimon Data Squad television show. Use traps and hunting gear to ensnare a creature in its native habitat, from snow-capped mountains to arid deserts. Once caught, you can then train the monster for battle in over 50 sanctioned matches, each offering real-time action with the ability to perform special moves. You can even tinker with each Digimon's attributes by placing it inside custom designed cages. Compete against friends in multiplayer matches supporting both online and local wireless connections.

    Pretty good

    Game worked normally, came as shown and very happy with it. Game was glitchingly slower to me, but it's probably just my perfectionist personality, product is great for price.

    Very good game worth the price.

    Hi everyone I've been a fan of Digimon for a LONG time, in fact i've seen it from season 1 to 4 and loved it! I looked into this game cause i wondered hmm a Digimon game where your team fights for gold sounds fun! And I wasn't disappointed, it's a very fun addictive game and I love the fact you care for your friends like in the first Digimon game for PS1, however keeping track of when the tournament events happen is hard and you may miss them alot like I've been. But that means you can train more so not all bad. Compared to other Digimon games I have (Digimon world 3 and 4) I'd say this is just as good as 3 and deffinately better than 4. It may not have all the evolutions I'd like and you can't directly control what your teams do and sometimes the battles may feel like re-runs but it's ok ...

    Glorified tamagotchi, but its a fun way to kill time.

    I bought this game because i'm a big digimon fan and really enjoyed the digimon story games. while this game is a big departure from the digimon story games, it is very reminiscent of the original tamagotchi virtual pets. your only true function in the game is to raise the digimon and maintain their health. you don't actually get to control the digimon as they fight like in the other digimon games. if you can get past the feeling like a cheerleader for your digimon as it runs around on the little screen, then this is actually a pretty enjoyable little game wherein which you can experiment with different evolutions. it really is a glorified tamagotchi though.
