Interesting program-where is the Disneyland version?
Being a long time Disney fan I grabbed this when I first saw it. I love the theme parks, though the only 1 I have ever been to is the 1st & the original Disneyland. I always want to watch any program about any of the Disney theme parks/resorts. This program is very interesting. Filmed when Everest was being built. At 100 minutes you do get to see a lot of different items. More varied featuring of the attractions should have been done. They just center on a few attractions. Disneyland is mentioned/referenced/shown several times in this program. So, I have this question-where is the Disneyland version of Modern Marvels? Excellent if you are planning a trip!
I purchased this DVD in preparation of my first Disney World trip as an adult this September. I enjoy knowing the background of the places I visit and I like to be able to look at the details of a place and know the inspiration behind them. Disney is full of carefully planned out details, innovation and beautiful execution of ideas. This DVD provides some of the information into how Disney World / Land came to be what it is today. It covered topics such as the monorail system, the creation of the newest Animal Kingdom park and the building of Cinderella's castle. This DVD was very well directed and intersting to watch. No boring stuffy parts or anything that I would recommend skipping. It was a very informative DVD about the making and history of the Walt Disney World theme parks. It even showed some behind the scene views of how Disney World is ran and showed how some of the rides work and creative genius' (Imagineers) that made all the fantasy and adventure come to life for all to enjoy. If you love Walt Disney World or just Disney in general, this is a very well documented video that every fan should own.It was a very informative DVD about the making and history of the Walt Disney World theme parks. It even showed some behind the scene views of how Disney World is ran and showed how some of the rides work and creative genius' (Imagineers) that made all the fantasy and adventure come to life for all to enjoy.
