    Quality Sewing Machine at an Affordable Price

    I have two other Brother embroidery machines and wanted one that had a bigger throat with all of the Brother bells and whistles. This machine runs well and very easy to use. The only thing I would like on it that it doesn't have is a bobbin thread sensor like the embroidery machines do. This machine is very thing I need to do my quilts on. Thank you Brother for making such high quality machines at an affordable price.

    fine machine as an upgrade but not without problems

    great machine once you learn how to thread it properly. If you don't thread the upper thread correctly it will bog down the bobbin thread under the needle plate. then you have to remove the sewing plate and clear out the bobbin thread that is stuck there. You must then re-thread the machine correctly. I have had several Brother machines but this one has been the worst in threading the upper thread.

    A great bargain and super performer!

    I jettisoned my home Singer and White and even my commercial machine with table. The PS500 does everything they did and more. My eyes have aged and I love the self-threading! A great bargain and super performer!
