    Some good some bad but nice reel and price

    All metal body smooth reeling in of line with high gear ratio shimano name all for a relatively low price point. As long as you go into it knowing it's not a 100-300 dollar reel so it won't compare to higher end shimanos, penn battles or daiwa bg but you want a fair price with quite a few of the bells and whistles this reel is very good all things considered. Pros: high gear ratio and smoothness, 20 lb max drag, 30 lb braid capability, 36 inches line in per turn, metal frame, non zinc drive gear this fj model uses hagane gear, price 80 use can be purchased cheaper. Cons: weight can be issue for some at 8.2 Oz, 3+1 bearings, light use saltwater capable due to anti corrosion coatings and materials but bearings and body aren't shielded or sealed, not a braid ready spool not a big deal but ...

    very smooth reel

    very smooth drag with strong adjustments for lots of drag. like the anti-reverse feature. It's not the reel my old stratic is, but was just a fraction of the cost. Good value and performs great. I own 6 shimano reells now, and are the best for the money in my mind.
