Gesundheitspsychologie, Psychopathologie, Note: 1,0, Rheinisch-Westfalische Technische Hochschule Aachen (Lehr- und Forschungsgebiet Neuropsychologie an der Neurologischen Klinik der RWTH Aachen ), Veranstaltung: Neuropsychologie IV: Visuelle und auditive Verarbeitung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll zunachst der Begriff der Halluzination naher definiert und von ahnlichen Phanomenen abgegrenzt werden. Die epidemiologische Betrachtung zeigt, dass auditive Halluzinationen am haufigsten und visuelle Halluzinationen nach Koerperhalluzinationen am dritthaufigsten vorkommen. Diese koennen sowohl aufgrund psychischer und organischer Erkrankungen aller Art auftreten sowie bei gesunden Menschen u.a. in extremen Lebenssituationen. Zu den zugrunde liegenden Mechanismen werden verschiedene neuropsychologische und -kognitive Erklarungsmodelle diskutiert. Es scheinen sich dabei insbesondere Modelle durchgesetzt zu haben, bei denen ein Defizit angenommen wird, welches darin besteht, dass intern generierte Sprache, Gedanken oder Bilder als von aussen kommend erlebt werden. Neurophysiologisch wurden auditive Halluzinationen uberwiegend im Zusammenhang mit Schizophrenie und visuelle Halluzinationen vornehmlich beim Charles-Bonnet-Syndrom oder nach Hirnlasionen untersucht. Dabeizeigt sich, dass diese Halluzinationen tendenziell mit den Hirnarealen zusammenhangen, die fur dieVerarbeitung von Informationen des jeweiligen Sinnesgebiets verantwortlich sind.
