About this product

Product Information

The trademark shooting and vehicular combat of the Metal Slug series comes to DS for the first time in Metal Slug 7. Taking place before the events of Metal Slug 4, Metal Slug 7 puts gamers in the shoes of familiar characters, such as Marco, Tarma, and Fiolina, as they blast their way through seven frenetic levels in another attempt to take down General Morden's forces. The DS' lower screen serves as a map to guide players toward power-ups and captives, and gamers can blast their way through each level in the new Slug Truck, Slug Gigant, and Heavy Armor vehicles.

When I opened the box I found the unit wedged against the side of the box with all the packing material on the other side. A complete operational check was successful so my concerns of possible damage were cleared. The unit was well cared for by it's previous owner. Shipping was very fast.AAA+++ seller

    Classic Arcade Action !!

This game was made to be in line with the arcade games of the same name... part 6 was the last game released in arcades and this is the next one in the series and plays and feels just like all the others. It could have easily been an arcade release... That is how good and arcade like they made it !!... some of the boss fights are epic and the new slugs were really well done and fun to use, I also love the level design. As a bonus they included a challenge mode of sorts that is really fun and a great diversion from the main arcade mode... (I wish all the other Metal Slug games had this mode) I would also like to say that I own a arcade cabinet with all of the metal slug games on the original cartridges and I have played them all many times over... With that being said, trust in me ...

  • Awesome Game!

The game is super fun yet a bit difficult when there's no analog. But I love playing this game on my DSI. I recommend this game if you love the "old ways" aka arcade games. It's not boring too, it's hard to an extent and I love that challenge. Thanks for the game!! :)

  • One of croen jewels of my da collection

This copy of metal slug 7 is in such beautifully good condition it’s now the nicest physical copy I own of any game. Also the game play is awesome and much prefer this one over something like Cobtra 4

  • A MUST HAVE FOR ALL METAL SLUG FANS!

One of the best metal slug games! A bit expensive but if you like retro video games then it's WORTH IT! I'll give it a 9/10 [ BTW if you play this game on "Hard mode" then you better get ready to die.... ALOT ]

  • The heart of Metal Slug still beats.

Metal Slug will always remain the pinnacle of side scrolling shooters for me, so as long as they keep making them I'll keep buying them. The core gameplay, the main thing I love is still as refined and hardcore as ever. But sadly they skimped on alot of the humor and incredible animations that made Metal Slug stand out as a beautiful, insane, and at times hilarious game among the masses of super buff seizure warning contra clones out there. If you've never played metal slug before, get the anthology and fall in love with M.S.3, if you're an old veteran of the series you'll like this, but it wont be a favorite.
