    Civil war medical instruments book

    Very interesting to see the tools used in surgery during the civil war especially as a camp nurse. Then to see pics of the surgeons during that time really brings the civil war to life and you feel for those who had to go through the hell they went through as patients as well as doctors and nurses

    Don't purchase this book.

    Purchase the book to learn more about collecting items pertaining to Civil War medical instruments. Poor photographs. I found more interesting photos on the internet and on eBay for free. I purchased volume 1 & 2 and I was not pleased. The book was ok, but if I could see the book before I purchased it, I would not have purchased the books. Just my thoughts.
