Marvel's gamma-grown, green hero crashes onto the PlayStation 3 with "The Incredible Hulk." Battle the United States military, the scientist-led Enclave, and other enemies as you wander the streets of Manhattan as the Hulk. The more you destroy, the faster you will fill the meter and gain access to powerful new moves and abilities. With superhuman strength, picking up a streetlight to smash a car or grabbing a manhole cover to throw at an enemy is easy for the Hulk. You encounter boss characters, including the Abomination and Bi-Beast, as you make your way through New York City. In addition, discover various mini-games and sub-quests along your way in this PS3 game. “The Incredible Hulk” game is largely based on the events from “The Incredible Hulk” film, which was one of the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thanks to its sandbox setting, every fight will be unique and sprawling. This third-person PS3 video game takes place in the huge, open world of New York City. While some of the enemies that the Hulk faces in the story are standard foes, others are massive super villains with powers similar to the Hulk’s. While the Hulk can rain destruction down on those he battles against, it's also possible to scale buildings and fight on skyscrapers in this game. Every single item you see in the environment can be used by the Hulk as a weapon. While much of the content within the story is centered around what took place in the film of the same name, additional content is available. These extra plotlines are taken from the Hulk Universe and played out in the game. If you're a fan of PS3 multiplayer games, you'll find a lot to enjoy with “The Incredible Hulk.” By simply going online on the PS3, you can play against anyone from around the world in a one-on-one battle to the death. There are a lot of characters to play as, including the classic variants of the Hulk and Iron Man. The villain known as Green Scar is exclusive to the PS3 version of these games. The maps in the gameplay scenes are taken from various areas around the Big Apple. The developer for these PlayStation games is Edge of Reality with Sega as the publisher. “The Incredible Hulk” has a rating of T for teen. The key to winning fights and battles in “The Incredible Hulk” games is to unleash your rage powers at the optimal time. This is especially useful when battling against the numerous bosses in this PlayStation game. When you wish to take a break from all of the fighting, consider carrying taxis to their destination. This and other mini-games come in the form of small missions around the city. The combat for these PS3 games involves both basic attacks and heavy attacks.     Fun but lacking in polish

    Not a bad game but certainly not a good one, still manages to be enjoyable with the basic gameplay elements because who doesn't like jumping around a city and smashing stuff. Its what you'd expect the Hulk to be doing. The game also will keep you busy with other simple tasks besides the main campaign like climbing certain building and destroying landmarks which surprisingly never gets old. Besides Hulk: Ultimate Destruction this is the best Hulk game to buy and its the only Hulk game on 7th generation consoles. While not nearly as good as UD its still fun and borrows elements from UD so it plays similar but its definitely lacking quality compared to it.

    As I have discovered on my own and then thru others that this game may or may not work as a good few have had bad docs that were corrupted and not playable..be ware.

    My 5-year old loves it

    I bought the game for my 5-year because he fell in love with it when I rented it. The graphics are phenomenal. Hulk starts out with minimal powers and gradually picks up new abilities after defeating other characters, completing missions or challenges. I love the fact that Hulk can go anywhere on the game board. There are no locked areas that are not accessible. Hulk can travel in any direction, climb any building and pick up any object on the street (except buildings, of course). The only drawback that I see to the game is that you cannot go back into any completed missions. The only way to replay a mission is to erase the entire memory for the game. Once the game is complete, however different characters are unlocked and you can then play as the new character. Alot of the game ...
