    Good P25 P1 Scanner

    Good digital scanner for P25 P1 and conventional. No P2. Best set up with a computer program like many other scanners these days. You can program it manually but is easier and you can see what you are doing and make changes easier with a PC program. Anyway, well built, heavy, loud audio if you need it but speaker is on the bottom. I use them as base units so I plug in an external speaker. Prices are still a bit high for a ~11 year old used scanner especially when all the accessories are missing. Costs about $30 to replace all of them from Uniden + about $30 for a programming cable. Get a programming cable with all the flashing LEDs. The other cables with just a black box on the cable fail all the time. I bought a 996xt recently and one of those black box cables was included but it was DoA. ...
