    My Living Doll, 1964: Acting is good. Writing overall is terrible credited to DESILU Productions. Throughout these episodes Rhoda, the robot is gullible to suggestions by anyone who talks to her. Bad Premise. NO CODE to initiate programming for her! Re: unaired ep. Does anyone in 1964 realize a blood test/waiting period is required pre-marriage? Later on I Dream of Jeanie & Bewitched (also '64) used magic or witchcraft to get out of ludicrous circumstances. But once a stupid gag was pulled there was no trap door, ie. nowhere to go. Therefore I fully understand why it wasn't renewed. Julie Newmar, who describes it as her most challenging role, is the highlight & briefly gets to display her dancing talents. More appropriate story lines could have utilized her athletic ablities & obvious ...

    JULIE NEWMAR IS AMAZING HERE! SHE STEALS THE SHOW! PLEASE , PLEASE, PLEASE RELEASE THE ENTIRE SERIES ON DVD!

    Julie Newmar, who plays a life-like gorgeous female robot, is just absolutely spectacular in this show; funny, sexy, silly and charming and playfully complicating the life of her new/temporary owner. The show somehow reminds me of I DREAM OF JEANNIE but with a science-y robotic twist. LOL. LOVED IT! Just wished that they would've released the whole series as a singular complete series DVD boxset instead of going season by season.
