    No monthly fee; works well.

    Followed direction to a T for google voice setup - didn't' quite mesh as the step by step. Yet after several goes all confirmed working. Voice quality has been very good. Calls in/out all working. Not sure if I really need the land line phones anymore; just a convenience. Further beyond initial outlay for device no more fees outside of normal ISP which is present anyway. Of note I did not check or look at any migration of land line number to google voice number - merely picked a nearby google voice number that was easy to remember. For Seniors who have internet & are paying monthly for a landline this would be something that would be quite useful.

    it gets the job done

    the setup is very hooky with Obitalk's server, tried it multiple times, but after it's registered with them it's smooth sailing... if for whatever reason you need a phone line, but don't want to pay the phone company an arm and leg this will be one of your best bet.. it works with google voice and other voip solutions though i only tried it with google

    Works great, but....

    I bought this device for a Google Voice number for a home phone. It works great, once you manage to get it set up. getting it set up, at least on Google Voice, is a major pain it the rear.

    Best kept secret to FREE local phone service forever!

    I connect a regular telephone with a standard RJ11 cord to this handy gizmo. Then I use my FREE phone number and FREE VOIP (Internet-based telephone service) from Google Voice to run my office telephone system. I've used this setup for about seven years. It works so well that I recently set up a similar system for a friend, which is why I needed to purchase another unit. This is one of the best-kept secrets in the telephone world. I have saved thousands on local phone service over the years. Highly recommended, reliable piece of hardware.

    Great choice if you do now want to pay monthly fees!

    Great solution for small businesses! It is easy to setup and works there without my attention. After installing it, I have cancelled my phone line service and fax line service altogether. I will pay only when I use, rather than their monthly fees!
