Not only did I manage to find the exact book I needed, but the condition is practically new. Saved some money getting this used copy, but it's in perfect shape. Took about a week to be delivered. Really pleased with how it all worked out. No problems, wish all transactions were like this.

The Simpsons, after all, spend more time in church than any other TV family, though Homer can still only describe his religion as: "you know, the one with all the well-meaning rules that don't work in real life. Uh, Christianity." This pop-culture book will be uncomfortable, perhaps at times, unbearable, to fundamentalist Christians, but it is, nonetheless, an interesting reference for our times. Pinsky makes a compelling argument that the show's writers' views of religious expression is complicated and, at times, sympathetic, despite the lampooning of fundamentalist Ned Flanders. ...

  • GOSPEL ACCORDING TO THE SIMPSONS

tHE BOOK WAS WELL WRITTEN. IT TAKES EACH PERSON IN THE SIMPSON WORLD AND COMPARES IT TO THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND HOW WE CAN SEE OURSELVES IN THEM. IT WAS GREAT READING AND BROUGHT OUT SEVERAL GOOD POINTS. I AM WRTING A SRMON SERIES ON THIS BOOK.
