No idea why since the shipping and handling was supposed to be included in this purchase—or what I assumed I paid in the costs that the listing had. The stuffed animal was stuffed into a very tight box—not treated like a collectible. I get it’s a “stuffed toy” but I would have liked to have seen more space around the “collectible”. Other than that the seller was communicative during the whole process. Anything from outside of the USA is going to incur this charge. This is something the rest of the world has zero control over. The tight box was why the shipping was as reasonable as it was. Squishmallows respond well to vacuum sealing, so a slight squish into a box certainly wasn't going to hurt it. A box that would have allowed more space around the collectible would have cost you double in shipping.
