    Zip drive for older computers.

    It's nice that I can still buy stuff for the old computer that still works good and that they are not obsolete. I would like to buy another before they are gone. Does some place exist where you can send old units and they fix and sell them.

    250mb ZIP drive "paper weight"

    This zip drive came with a CD with drivers, which are not compatible with Windows 8.1, Vista, or XP. Probably works with Windows 98. The Iomega site does not have drivers anymore, just links that take you to sponsored ads. I purchased a parallel port to USB cable trying to get this Zip to work on our XP machines, but no luck. And, again, there are no drivers available on the internet, so basically I purchased an expensive paper weight in choosing this device.

    Iomega 250MB parallel port drive

    My USB Iomega drive stopped working, so I bought this parallel port Iomega Zip drive to transfer files from my 250MB Zip disks to a flash drive. My current desktop computer doesn't have a parallel port, so I used an older laptop computer that has a parallel port to do this. Windows XP Professional recognized and automatically installed the driver for this drive, and it worked flawlessly.
