        Rain Bird - 9 zone controller

        This is a very good timer. It is easy to program and very easy to manual water with one push of button. Only thing I have a problem with is the timer has an internal battery that can't be changed and if you unplug timer from 120 volts, you only have a blank screen and you think the battery isn't working, but it keeps the inputs that were entered. No way to change battery for back-up. Other then that, it's great!

        Not as Advertised.

        Advertised in the manual as being able to set multiple time with time starts & duration run time independently for each other, however that is a falsehood. You can have multiple time starts, but the run times are going to be all the same no differentiation allowed for 2nd & more start times. Example" 1st start 4am with station 1 running for 20 min., 2 station set in sequence to run next for 8 min, 3rd station set to run for 20 min, etc. So far so good. Second starting time set for 9pm with station 1 set to run for 10 min, 2nd station to run for 4 min. 3rd station to run for 10 min. A Okay up to this point, you've run 1 start time changed to a different time for 2nd start, you go back to number 1st start the next day only to find out all your set times have now become 10 min run time ...

        SST-900I

        Cannot believe how easy this 9 station rainbird controller was to set up. Replaced an old gear driven controller that was 18 years old. All the wires were there so in 5 minutes it was hooked up. In another 5 minutes it was fully programmed.

        Rainbird controller

        I connected the wires for each zone the day I received this controller. Easy to program and worked perfectly. Other controllers are complicated. this one, you set and forget. and I can even add two more zones in the future. It was just as described by the seller. thank you.

        Great Sprinkler Timer

        This 9-zone sprinkler timer was exactly what I needed. I decided to replace the entire timer instead of buying a new power cord for my old timer in case that was only a part of its problem. The new time looks modern and was very easy to wire.
