B-hyve hose timer with hub review
Product promptly arrived, easy setup and pairing for the hub and spigot attachment. Then it loaded new firmware. The pp is pretty nice but I use it mostly to manually run a timed period. I don’t use its scheduler. It also looked me to tie into the weather station .7 miles from my home. Nice feature as the weather and rain in the larger town 10 miles away doesn’t see the same rain that we get out here on the coast. Only issue I have is it’s integration with Alexa that why its4 stars.. I tell Lexmark to water it for 5 minutes and she thinks it’s happning but there’s nothing happening at th sprinkle head. So that bug nee$s to be addressed.but the manual timer does work just not with Alex. S good product overall Nd I may buy mother spigot unit for the from yard. I won’t need to buy ... Easy to install and operate with app. Did have a fail but company made good.
I love this product but it did fail after limited use. There was a water leak that apparently caused a short. Company did send a new unit but have not installed yet. On the good side it’s super easy to install and operate remotely. Love the product and assuming I had a lemon would recommend.

Making my smart home, have a smart yard
This works awesome, I'm still dialing everything in, but love all the features that the app gives you. One thing to keep in mind, if added this to an older house, you might need a pressure/ hammer arrestor before it. My house was built in 1964 and when this shut off, the pipes sounded like they were going to bring the house down. $11 at Lowes or HD, and you're set.

Works perfectly for my needs.
I currently have a large Rainbird irrigation system for my lawn and other plants. But when I added a new rose garden in a remote corner of the property, I needed a new zone. Retrofitting to the Rainbird was costly so I decided to try the Bhyve out. Installation was quick and easy as long as you don't follow the quick start instructions in the box (which were confusing and inaccurate). I simply signed up at the website on my computer, paired the hub and valve, and let it update the firmware. All went well. With no issues. The website is the easiest place to learn about the system and all its options. I do not use many of the features as I only need basic watering on a schedule for one zone. Time will tell how this works in the future, but it appears to be well made and may only need proper winterization and a fresh set of batteries next year.

Set up is easy with Bhyve App. Works perfect. Smart watering can be customizable. History available in the app. It also skips water schedule based on the weather forecast at zip location you give during setup.
