    Sturdy plastic with good detail and leeway for you to customize it to your ideal.

    The plastic the model is made from is sturdy. Considering the scale of this Enterprise model I find the detail is good. It has molded hull detail that isn't accurate, but that is up to the model builder to decide whether to paint accurate aztec patterns or buy aftermarket decals. There is a lot of room to add aftermarket pieces, such as the hydroponic gardens and the shuttlecraft bay in the secondary hull. The decal sheet with the markings is good but there are newer editions the modeler can find online. This model gives you a lot of possibilities to make it your own design.

    Overall the model is suprisingly complete and in very good shape for its vintage I'm very pleased with the packing of the box as well this will be a fine addition to my collection
