    A Leg Up

    Installed this leg leveler on an aluminum extension ladder for use on steps and uneven terrain. The installation was relatively easy - three bolts with spacers on each side. Receivers are mounted on each leg, then the extender/leveler is mounted on the receiver via key lock connections. Very convenient and quick. A locking mechanism and safety pin secure the leveler well. The extension ratchets with the ability for fine adjustment. The only problem is that the leveler does not extend far enough to cover two steps. A box or block can be used and the leg extended to level the ladder. Once in use, it feels perfectly secure. We try to work safely at all times and this leg leveler allows us to be safer on ladders. We highly recommend it.

    Instructions not accurate

    Followed instructions and they weren’t correct. After drilling three holes in my brand new ladder, realized the stabilizer was an inch to low to clear the ladders bottom foot. Causing the ladder to be uneven. So I raised the other size from 4” to app 6” and drilled holes. I don’t know why they say 4” . It won’t allow the stabilizer to be high enough.
