I purchased this from Shars before. Very useful around the shop so I needed another. Performs as expected with one exception. This particular indicator has a bit less resistance in the spring. So when used in a horizontal position with the mag base on the lathe, it tends to lag in its reading. I'll mess with the spring to adjust it's no biggy.
