I tried the Bakelite cleaner/polisher on three vintage coffee maker knobs. They were originally faded.
It only took a little dab to clean an entire knob, and restore the original black Bakelite luster. I needed two applications of clean/polish and dry, but the results were worth it. I am impressed with this product and will use it again, on other machines! I highly recommend it, based on my experience.

The item’s description says the cleaner “repairs” Bakelite. The Polish does not reduce scuffs/surface wear. Also, to get the buildup off Bakelite takes a lot of Polish. The very small jar of Polish is not sufficient to clean multiple items.
