light weight great features and very powerful!!
If you need a trimmer and you're in the DeWalt ecosystem of batteries it's a no-brainer. It doesn't have the power of a gas trimmer but it also doesn't have the weight. As strong as the strongest electric trimmers. The trigger safety is smart and easy to use. The battery runtime on a 6 amp battery is fantastic. A lot safer to use than a corded one. Can't cut the cord, trip on it and you can use it on a ladder. It is slightly heavier than a comparable electric but the convenience far outweighs the very slight increase in weight. Wouldn't recommend for right handed people
Does fairly good job but doesn't have power of gas unit. This is my 4th weeder to own. My other three weed eaters ran clockwise when cutting. This one runs counter clockwise and throws grass and rocks into my face. Cannot get used to it running counter clockwise. Probably work good if you are left handed.

Well built and easy to use.
I like working with quality tools and this hedge cutter meets my expectations. It's a bit heavy but well built and is quiet as a hedge trimmer can be. Don't waste your money on other cutters go ahead and get a quality tool that will last you years of service. I don't think the picture shows you but it also comes with a well fitting blade guard used for storage. All and all this a nice tool. Dewalt makes a bigger hedge trimmer and is geared toward heavy commercial use but I only have about 100' of hedge to maintain every few weeks. I could probably get by with a smaller tool but I like the quality of Dewalt tools. I like working with quality tools and this hedge cutter meets my expectations. Another great Dewalt power tool
I have become a firm user of Dewalt tools; they simply work better. The power, ease of use, cutting ability and safety of this hedge trimmer has me sold on it. The safety comment is about not being able to accidently trigger the cutter on. All of my Dewalt tools run on the same 20 volt battery system that is powerful and long lasting. Great stuff.

Worth every dollar
I found the best price here. Brand new, super sharp blades. So much better than corded trimmers and it allows me to use the 3 dewalt 20v batteries I already had for my other power tools. Also, my main concern was lack of power with only 20v but it performed extremely well during my first use. I would definitely buy it again.
