    HS1238A-X is a Great Fan

    At 5”, this ball-bearing fan draws 110 CFM. I am setting up a darkroom ventilation system and even though I calculated the single fan will move enough air, these are inexpensive enough where I will hook up 3 fans in parallel to maximize airflow. Will 3 fans make 3 times as much noise as one fan, yes! But that’s my compromise, I am good with it.

    Great ventilation fan

    I have three 120mm fans from AC Infinity in our chicken coop to keep it cool in the summer. This one is an exhaust and I also have two low speed fans as intakes. This balances out the low speed fans well. I took off one star because it’s a little loud. A “medium speed” option would be a great middle ground between this and the low speed models. If you need to move a good bit of air, this fan is awesome.

    The mechanical cooling fan failed, I was able to substitute the muffin fan in it's place.
