Definitely works, the extra length bites into the good threads, they torqued down to specs, the 40 ft lbs to me just wasn't enough

one stripped out threads in the block. Used only 1 bolt to correct the headgasket failure. Tightened to 30 ft lbs then 45°. So far so good

Worked very well !! I was very skeptical at first, but the product was well worth the money spent !!! Very, very satisfied !

Be very careful if head has been machined ! Bolts may be too long, and may require length adjustment. Also recommend cutting gash in old head bolt and using it as a thread chaser, before installing new bolts.

  • Great product

I have a 02 camry 2.4 and the head bolts pulled out of the cylinder block creating a coolant leak . I looked at all my possibilities and it was going to be a 1,000 to 2,000 for me to replace the engine . I found these bolts that required no drilling or putting threaded sleeves in and I got them . I tore down the engine replaced head gasket and had head checked . I installed head and new bolts , they torqued down . Put the engine back together and a week later the engine is running strong . I'm a 20 year technician and I'd stand by this fix . It works and will save you a lot of money . I fixed the engine with myself doing the repair for 350.00 . Definitely best shot at fixing your problem .

  • An excellent alternative to installing g a $450 helicoil kit and save a ton in the labor!!!

Worked great for me, just be careful when torqueing down the new studs. I would recommend you skip the last step the book asks of you. (180 degree turn on all studs after torque specs are made.) Just rotate 90 degrees!

  • Head bolts worked very well

Head bolts worked awesome they torqued perfectly to 25 foot pounds. We clean the block threads out with a nice brush from Harbor Freight they got down in the thread area and then we use some Summit Racing threading compound and they tighten up very nicely

  • These work

These bolts worked great for my block the threads were messed up and these bolts are longer to reach further in the block ti new threads about 1/2 inch longer so a really good solution to the stripped out thread problem
