the spout and vent are perfect..the threaded cap is trash. it’s WAY to tight threading on and off. Ended up using original cap with these spouts. Also the yellow cap kinda sucks. Will def fall off easily compared to the original. Needed to tie a lanyard on it so I didn’t lose it.

Thread tightness varies from can to can as the can is used plastic combined with new plastic components. The yellow cap is tight and will not fall off. If it was to fall off, that would mean you did not twist to lock it onto spout(original blitz design). Yes, you can tie a string onto the arm of the cap (why we designed cap with an arm/hole) so that when you remove the cap, it is not lost. Please ask questions before posting mis-information.

These are such a good idea and market. I got the first order of these in the mail two days before being smacked with a typhoon. Generator fuel and fuel cans were in all time short supply so was glad to reuse old cans I had and plenty of neighbors were glad I had these as well. With the "approved" cans being problematic and fragile there are LOTS of leftover cans without spouts so these fill a great need. Thank you and thanks again. David

    Works!

    Dislike most of the gas can spouts selling in the stores around me now. These aren't exactly like the original Blitz spouts -require a vent hole/cap- but work much better for men then the flexible ones or the ones that have some type of shut off turn on mechanisms on them.

    Better than new

    Don't toss your old plastic gas containers... fix them right with these new spouts and vents! Old school manual vents work so much better than all that BS on newer cans. Drill the hole... blow out the shavings if any get in the can... roll in the vent (it's a tight fit) BINGO ! better than new... flows the gas out quickly and EZ,. I like the ridge on the spout for EZ balanced filling of the tank your putting gas into.

    These are pricey but make the job go quickly!!!

    These are a little pricey but are quality made. The yellow caps are great as they don't require a fight to put them on or take them off the spout as the ones made by Blitz do. And the addition of the vents to the can make the difference between standing around all day waiting for the cans of gas to empty and quickly getting the job done.

    Fixing what the government broke

    Got these for my Midwest Cans. The spouts do fit but you need to reuse your Midwest caps to make them work. Elected “leaders” screwed up gas cans. These will fix them.
