      ThinkPad X230 Bluetooth Daughterboard

      This is the part necessary to add native Bluetooth to the X230. It is an easy installation after removing the battery, keyboard (2 screws) and palmrest (5 screws). It is often sold without the holddown screw (M2 x 3mm, though 5mm will fit), and sourcing a screw was the most difficult part of the project. Precise installation instructions can be found in the Hardware Maintenance Manual, available on the Lenovo website. The necessary Broadcom drivers can also be found on the Lenovo website, or automatically downloaded by Windows.

      Just what I needed

      I swapped out my bluetooth card in my T420 for one of these 4.0 chips and now I can use newer bluetooth devices including a wireless XBOX One Controller. So satisfied. It was pretty easy to install as well. Thank you.

      Great Used daughter card for x230 - BT 4.0

      This card came packaged well and in great condition. It was used and fit in perfectly. On first boot up it was detected in both BIOS and windows 10 and now I have Bluetooth!

      Good card for my laptop

      Card worked well once I put it into the system. It was a bit of a challenge adding it to the system, with the location on the motherboard. Happy all worked well and system has a new piece of hardware.
